Quiet day @ work

Haven’t been blogging the past weeks. Too lazy and tired.

Been a quiet week in the new office. Still learning the ropes in the new place. So I gotta be patient. As I used to be a fast person. Coz I have so much work to do in the old office.

For now, things are going slow. Learning new things along the way.

I hope to get Gabbie’s grad pics out soon.

Bestie’s wedding this saturday. And it’s not helping when lady business is here.

Day 4 of break

Time passes so fast when you are actually NOT WORKING!!!

Why don’t I experience the same thing when I’m working? Gosh!!

Accompanied my mum to do some clothes shopping for her. Luckily she found 3 tops to her liking. Gabbie joined us and we head down to town. For another shopping spree.

Coz I was to get my long awaited baggie which I wanted long time ago – Palermo PM. Yeah! I splashed big time, smilingly.

Had dinner with Da Yang – newest colleague cum good buddy. A whole night of complains – hilarious.

Another day that ended well.

Day 3 of break

It’s Wendy’s Birthday. I couldn’t get her pressie ready. So I meet her at PS to give her a lunch treat @ Cosy Tea (the shop which sells some victorian style furnitures and also for dine in).

Food was alright only. But atmosphere quiet enough to chat and chill. Did some window shopping at first, but the birthday gal splash on shoes and clothes. She deserve it, it’s her day.

Evening I met up with some ex-colleagues for dinner. Was chattering about how was it like when they were working together (unlike now, and finally I’m the last to leave the place). Hah.

It’s really quite tired to be going out everyday but I’m enjoying my time and going to malls in the afternoon away from the crowd.

Day 2 of break

Actually it was supposed to be a day to Sentosa with my mum and Gabbie, but mum wasn’t feeling too well. So got out of the house in the afternoon.

Catch “The Proposal” and walked around town.

Evening was to accompany Yi Po to do some check up at the gynae. Good gracious that she’s fine so far now.

Day 1 of break

It’s the first day of my long awaited 1 week break.

It’s been a long while since I can take time at its pace and put things down slow. So in the morning went to ran some errands with my mum and we went to catch an afternoon movie – Turning Point.

Quite an action packed show, but it was alrite.

Did some shopping and went home for dinner.

Day well spent.

Another 3D movie

Gabbie and I caught yet again another 3D movie. The first one was Ice Age 3, and this time is UP.

It’s really a touching show. For me and for him, some parts of the show holds some emotions for us and the scenes reflect how we’ve come so far in this relationship and the little things we do together keep us together.

So yea! It’s 10 thumbs UP for me!

Grandaunt BD n Fairmount Hotel stay

Aunty Mon got a free room at Fairmount Hotel to see the NDP preview fireworks and at the same time to celebrate Grandaunt’s BD.

The view was quite nice. And when night falls. The lights from the cars fills the stretch of lanes.

Waited for the fireworks.
I was panicing over pressing the camera quickly and couldn’t get any nice shot. But aunt’s maid was smart to video it down in her hp. Smart move.

When was sleeping time, in the middle of the night was awake by the snoring choirs.
However, it was a nice sight to see no traffice on the road – except for taxis occasionally.

Next morning lunch at the Szechuan restaurant at Raffles City.
Grandaunt is 90! I hope for many more years for her to come.

O’er the weekend

Over the weekend, we had a go at the all raved about Botak Jones owned by an ‘ang moh’. And so we head down to the newly opened outlet at Marine Parade.

On the way there, caught a glimpse of a rainbow. (But I thought it haven’t rain in the afternoon- whatever~)

It seems that there will always be crowd at Botak Jones outlets. When we reached around 6.20pm after waiting for 20 minutes for a parking space, we found that there wasn’t much crowd actually so the waiting time was reduced greatly.

I had fish and chips. Gabbie added cheese for me. Looks like the kraft cheese though.

Gabbie had the hugh sauage with sunny side up. It’s quite hugh though. And he choose the fries sprinkled with some chilli powder. Not too bad.

My verdict is that the food is not to bad. But if there’s a big crowd then I will not sacrifice my time for it.

In His time

Been procrastinating again. Nothing interesting came up these days. And life been monotonous for me.

But this week sort of marks the next turning point as I will taking on a new challenge soon and next week will be awaiting to draw on the dotted lines. I cross my fingers and toes that I have made the right choice and leave all bad things behind. I know everyone is cheering me on.

And next week is: This is IT!!!!

I know HE will always show me the way and choose the right choice for me.
